  • Krusevo Forest

    Nature lovers will enjoy walking through a few hundred years old beech forest also known as “Demirova Korija”. So named after the nickname of the old settler of Krushevo, Demir Trajko, otherwise grandfather of the famous revolutionary and publicist from Krushevo Nikola Kirov Majski. In summer The Forest is a great place to hide from the sun and enjoy in the coolness of the beeches.

  • Nikola Martinovski gallery

    The old house which houses the gallery of works by the famous Macedonian painter Nikola Martinoski is a pleasant, warm and unassuming exhibition area. In it there can be found a selection of works by the painter, who lived from 1903 until 1973 and who was born here in Krusevo. The academic Martinoski occupies a prominent place in contemporary Macedonian art. He donated to his hometown 62 pictures in oil and tempera as well as drawings. His pictures from the 1960s depict themes taken from the life, customs and environment of the Krusevo home. In 2000 ethnological exhibits were also presented to the gallery, with exhibitions of rooms and costumes from Krusevo and surrounding areas as they were in the 19th century. Here you can feel the atmosphere of the old houses, admire the colours of the coverings made of goat hair, and examine chests and cupboards built into the walls where bedding and kitchen utensils were kept. The ethnological exhibition includes part of the national heritage from surrounding villages, such as Selce, Koshino and Blagoevce.
